During this time of year, as we self-assess, one life lesson seems to occupy our thoughts….something in our lives must change. Hand-cuffed to this reality is history, which has proven that “New Year’s Resolutions” are incapable of sustaining beneficial change. So, we’re stuck. We must change something, yet the continual, or at least year-long inspiration for such change eludes us. The study of Isaiah’s vision into the Throne Room of God (Isaiah 6:1-8) attempts to address that challenging issue. We pray that a vision of God “high and lifted up” influences a world of change, and an eternity of happiness.
