Ryan has always believed in the existence of God, however it was not until around 1997 (age 23) that the Lord captured Ryan’s heart like never before. As Ryan began reading the Bible, and seeking counsel from books as well as Christians, God convicted Ryan of the trustworthiness of His word, the weight of Ryan’s sin, and the need to have Jesus as both Savior and Lord. Ryan repented of sin and was baptized. Since then, the Lord has given Ryan a hunger for apologetics, biblical theology, and an appreciation of Church history. Ryan lives to see Christ treasured. He currently serves as a Deacon, he leads in the AWANA ministry, and he and Susan (Ryan’s wife) teach children in Sunday School and Nursery. Ryan says, “My desire is to see Christ magnified at Bible Baptist Churh, and disciples made of all the nations. My goal is to encourage and equip the saints to spread a passion for the supremacy of Christ for the joy of all peoples.” God has blessed Ryan with an amazing wife of 12 years and three beautiful children (Kirstie, Kristian and Kori).
